On Feb. 11, 2008, the City of Orlando passed the last increase for taxicab meter rates.
How the meter calculates the fare: $2.20 for the first 1/4 of a mile, or first 80 seconds of waiting time.
$.55 for each additional 1/4 of a mile or 80 seconds waiting time.
- All tolls/parking fees incurred during fare, are added to meter.
